Varese Sarabande на своем лейбле Fuel выпустят сборник Билла Уаймана и The Rhythm Kings из 33 трэков. Альбом называется "Greatest & Latest" и включает в себя "Live" и "Just for a Thrill". Релиз запланирован на 12 мая.

Дамы и господа! Это, конечно, не совсем новость, но может кому-то будет интересно. Случайно у себя тут в Киеве в магазине наткнулся на плакаты (конечно Стоунз там не было, а я их и не искал)! Но ради интереса зашел на сайт этой типографии и увидел, что у них в ассортименте таки есть Стоунз! Так что я выкладываю ссылку для ознакомления. Приятно, что знают наших!

It contains 3 CDs, 1 DVD, a 56-page Collectors Book and a postcard replica of the original Rolling Stones 1969 tour poster by David Byrd. The first CD is a remastered version of the original Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out release. The second CD contains 5 unreleased tracks by The Rolling Stones from the original Madison Square Garden concert. The third CD contains 12 never before released tracks by opening acts B.B. King and Ike & Tina Turner. The DVD features performances by The Rolling Stones from the 2 night concert at Madison Square Garden, backstage footage, scenes of Keith Richards in the studio and footage of the Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out album cover shoot, all shot by Albert and David Maysles. The 56-page Collectors Book includes photos and an essay by the acclaimed photographer Ethan Russell, an original article by Lester Bangs from Rolling Stone magazine and remembrances from concert-goers. а что там на картинке делает Guitar Hero 5? Вместе с боксом продают? И что там делают BB King и Turners? Какое отношение к роллинговскому сборнику? Вместе играли? Или только стояли рядом?

Дык этот диск первоначально и планировался как двойник, с Би Би и Тёрнерами. Там что-то не сложилось с копирайтами, поэтому выпустили одинарный альбом только с выступлением Роллингов. Но задумывалось как лайв всего концерта, а не только РС. Я же выше уже написал об этом.
Что касаемо Гитар Хиро, то у легально купивших диск есть возможность скачать "I'm Free" для этой игры, сама игра с дисками не продаётся, её нужно покупать отдельно.

Выходит книга известной групи Крис О'Делл, которая в свое время была подружкой Ринго Старра, Мика Джаггера, Боба Дилана, а Джордж Харрисон посвятил ей песню "Miss O'Dell".

В частности, после распада "Битлз" Крис стала личной ассистенткой "Роллинг Стоунз", доставала наркоту для Кита и даже отправилась с ними в знаменитое турне 1972 г. О своем романе с Джаггером она написала: "Если бы у меня была должностная инструкция, когда я работала у "Стоунз", я уверена, что в нее входил бы примерно такой пункт: спать с Миком, когда он об этом попросит".

Квентин Тарантино утверждает, что T.A.M.I. Show "один из трех лучших рок-фильмов в истории". Канал VH1 поместил оригинальную телепрограмму на 15-е место в среди 100 величайших моментов в рок-истории. И Рик Рубин назвал его "единственным величайшим рок-н-ролльным представлением, снятым на пленку".

The T.A.M.I Show, концертный фильм 1964 г. При участии The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Джеймса Брауна, Чака Бери, Марвина Гея, Смоуки Робинсона и The Miracles, The Supremes и др. впервые выйдет на DVD. Концерт состоялся в "Сивик Одиториум" г. Санта-Моника, всего через семь месяцев после дебюта The Beatles на Ed Sullivan Show, и стал первым концертным рок-фильмом.
